Shortsville Green Growers began as a farm restoration project in 2008. Since then clean up, repairs, building projects and establishing a growing business has become a full-time endeavor for SGG owners Jessie Thompson and Scot Walker. Jessie grew up helping the family grow organic vegetables on this very same farm and now manages the plant and vegetable growing, and Scot handles the growing infrastructure and farm maintenance.
Shortsville Green Growers offers high quality herbs, microgreens and vegetables grown naturally with better than organic methods in place and always in mind. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides, but aim to cultivate healthy plants and manage pests through soil health and non-spray methods such as insect netting. Our main crops are tomatoes, salad greens, beets, carrots and microgreens, and we also offer smaller quantities of a variety of popular vegetables and herbs.
