About Us
James and Rebecca (Becky) Cornwell started Nine pines farm in 2016. With the help of their 4 children they raise the highest quality pastured poultry, pastured pork and fresh cut flowers.
James is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served for 9 years onboard submarines as a Nuclear qualified Machinist Mate. He recently graduated with a MBA from York college. He grew up around farms which developed his love and passion for farming. He is now realizing his dream of farming full time!
Becky is a graduate of York College where she received her B.S. in Nursing. She has taken a temporary reprieve from nursing and homeschools their 4 children. When she isn’t teaching or working with the kids, she is out and about on the farm with James, doing everything from weeding, cutting flowers, Designing flower arrangements, processing chickens, or chasing the occasional pig if they happen to escape (Sorry babe).

Practices
Our chickens are fed certified Non-GMO feed, and raised on pasture. They are kept in pens called tractors for their own protection from predators. We move them daily onto clean fresh grass.
Like our chicken, our pork is raised on pasture. We believe that open space and plenty of access to fresh grass is key to a happy life for our piggies. Of course they cannot get all of their nutrition from grass alone, so we supplement with a Non-GMO feed ration.
