Painterland Sisters is operated by Stephanie and Hayley Painter, two sisters providing you with healthy, honest, and sustainable products made with love. We are excited to offer butter made with organic ingredients and yummy organic skyr yogurt, currently available in plain, vanilla bean, blueberry lemon, strawberry, and meadow berry!
Our food is produced right here on Painterland Farms, a fourth-generation organic dairy and crop farm located in Westfield, PA. We are proud and fortunate to work alongside our family. Every day starts and ends depending on the needs of the land and animals, not our scheduled hours or salaries. Working together as a family allows us to constantly improve the farm using regenerative and organic practices.
You deserve to know how your food is grown and what goes into it. Our mission is to connect you directly to the source of your food, the American Farmer. This has been our dream since we were barefoot little girls running around these pastures!

Practices
Painterland Farms practices regenerative agriculture, meaning we focus on the health of our land and our animals. Our farming practices promote soil health and biodiversity, sequester carbon, and generally help improve climate health. We do this by:
Using NO antibiotics, hormones, or GMOs.
Using NO chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or herbicides.
Working with the land and animals and creating healthy environments for both.
Practicing rotational grazing, so our pastures remain nutrient-rich and productive for future generations.
Feeding our animals a balanced organic diet using crops harvested right on our land!
Crossbreeding our livestock to raise diverse, healthy offspring.
We like to call our process full circle farming because we do as much as possible on our farm. It begins by nourishing our land with naturally organic manure from the cattle. The nutrient-rich soil supports the growth of our hay and grains, which we harvest and mill to make organic feed for our animals, who grow strong and enjoy long, happy lives. And the cycle starts again!
